Introduction to the Vormek Simple Seal VTS-100
The Simple Seal VTS-100 is a compact, benchtop tray sealing machine designed for small to medium production volumes. It offers a straightforward, reliable sealing solution for plastic containers using a wide range of films—plastic, metallized, aluminum, breathable, and anti-fog—in various thicknesses and widths.
While the machine accommodates containers of different shapes and sizes through custom mold design, it is important to note that mold changeover is not supported. Each machine is configured for a specific container format. For example, with containers measuring 170 × 220 mm in opening dimensions, the machine delivers an output of approximately 150 packages per hour.

How the Benchtop Sealer Works
The operation is simple and intuitive:
- The operator places filled containers into the mold.
- The film is manually drawn across the container openings.
- The operator pulls down the lever, and the sealing cycle is executed.
Setup and adjustments are straightforward, making the machine highly accessible for operators with minimal training.
Packaging Style Options
Outside Cut Pack
This is the most common packaging method. The film is cut 2–2.5 mm from the container edge and sealed over the opening.
IML Packaging (In‑Mold Labeling)
IML containers are labeled during the molding process, resulting in a premium, high-quality appearance. These containers typically have narrow rims, requiring specialized sealing technology for clean, reliable sealing.
Easy Peel Point Pack
Designed for products that require easy film removal at the time of consumption. A peel tab is created during sealing, allowing consumers to remove the film effortlessly.
Cup Pack
This method is used for round-rim containers, applying the outside cut principle to achieve a clean, finished seal.
Key Components
Machine Body
Constructed from high-quality Taiwanese 304 stainless steel, the body offers excellent resistance to corrosion and discoloration when exposed to food products and cleaning agents. The guide rollers are also made from premium 304 stainless steel for long-term durability.
Mold System
The mold is professionally engineered to seal precisely along the container rim. It features two standard cartridge-type heating elements designed to distribute pressure evenly and extend element life.
Electrical System
- Timer, microswitch, and buzzer for sealing time alerts
- Temperature regulator with SSR relay for precise temperature control
